Northern lights in Healy, Alaska. Gearing up for winter projects by going through the archive with @Lightroom. This month marks the culmination of the #AdobePartner #makeitimpactful project, a creative collaboration with 9 other artists and designers that challenged us to make an impact with our work, and with each other, using @adobecreativecloud. Dad and daughters. Happy 80th birthday to my amazing dad!!

Excited that “Leaders of the Pack" (link in bio) was selected for the National Geographic Short Film Showcase! The film, directed by Erin Sanger @esanger, follows me as I photograph dog musher Kristin Knight Pace before her first Iditarod in 2016. Kristen, her husband Andy, and their daughter Ada run @heymoosekennel, a long distance racing kennel in Healy, Alaska.

80 Degrees North. A piece of glacial ice in Svalbard, Norway, shrinking by the day due to climate change. #ad By documenting these changing landscapes, I hope we can impact the public’s consciousness, understanding and love for our beautiful and fragile planet. Shot while sailing the high seas with @seilnorge on assignment for @parismatch and edited in @Lightroom. #makeitimpactful @adobecreativecloud

We built a boat! Before I leave Red Hook yet again, I wanted to share some pics of one of the main highlights of my summer from just a block away from home- Boat Building with Bob class at the amazing @supersmith! We launched our beautiful lady on Sunday and she is glorious!!! #ssstich

A walrus colony in Svalbard, Norway. Back to work! Editing photos with @lightroom from my recent assignment in the Norwegian Arctic starting with this handsome fella and his sexy side tusk :) #ad In all seriousness though, it is truly a privilege to get to observe and be impacted by these wondrous (and wonderfully disgusting) creatures in their natural habitat. And while this guy might not look stressed out, melting sea ice and warming weather caused by climate change are challenging the survival of marine mammals in the Arctic more and more each day. #makeitimpactful #climatechange #svalbard #arctic #walrus @adobecreativecloud
